National Council
National Council is made up of the following:
Executive Committee
- Controls the assets and funds of the association
- The decision making body
- Conducts the day-to-day business of SASLHA
Regional Representatives - Branch Committee with Chairperson
- Promotes the aims and purposes of SASLHA in the region
- Chairperson represents branch on the National Council
Standing Committees - Committee with Chairperson
- Ethics and Standards Committee - maintenance of professional standards
- Continuing Education Committee - seminars, workshops, accreditation
- Publications Committee - Journal, Communiphon, Private Practitioners Booklet, Web site.
- PR and Marketing Committee - Marketing to the public and allied professions
